Amy is an Speech Pathologist from Chicago with a keen interest in integrated services. She has acted as a professional mentor to assist other SLPs with initiation and development of push-in services. Currently, her interests include vocabulary instruction, and the use of music across the curriculum to teach Social and Emotional skills.
Mary Catherine Nelson
Mary Catherine is a certified reading specialist working in a clinical setting with students K–12. A former high school English teacher, she also works in curriculum development and instructional coaching. Her interests include active, solution-seeking learning; generative response cuing; and tapping into funds of knowledge through a Vygotskian approach.
Chris is a graphic designer, production expert, and technology specialist with a background in art and long history of producing award winning learning materials.
Loretta F. Volini
Loretta is a mother, grandmother and school psychologist. She has a doctorate in educational psychology, a license as a clinical professional counselor, and has done post-doctoral work at the University of Chicago in clinical psychology. Loretta feels strongly that there is a need for psychological services in our schools. These services can be provided by working together to build schools that are healthy learning environments where children feel safe and valued.
Jimmy De Lauriea
Audio Engineer/Music Arrangement
Jimmy is a recording enthusiast and audio engineer at Chophouse Recording in La Grange, IL. He is a bass player by trade, picking up guitar and keyboard skills along the way. In addition to working with The Bluebird Bunch on Annika Jean Gets Smart!, Jimmy has his hands in several other projects at the Chophouse. He has recently engineered and mixed recordings for Amelia Russell’s Let’s Rap and Larry O. Dean's latest LP, Good Grief. Jimmy can be seen playing bass around Chicago with the power pop trio The Injured Parties.
